Algeria is one of the forefront of the countries that paid great attention to the manuscript heritage, as i twas the first Islamic country to rise in this country, and it is the Rustamia, which gave the importance of heritage to the manuscript, Abdel Rahman Ibn Rustum singled out the financial assiastance that wasrecieved from him from the east, to buy books and copies and it was the libraryof the infallible one of the most important libraries of the Middle Eastduring the era of the modern stat, there were also manuscripts releted to the French colonial period between 1830 and 1962 and they have great signilicanceas one of the historical rings that record the conditions of Algerian society in allsocial, cultural, economic and solitical fields. And if we want to give an ideaabout the balance of the Arab heritage in manuscript in Algeria, we must talk, even briefly, about these treasures, especially in the contemporary perod.
