Abstract

The research deals with tolerance in the era of Cyrus the Achaemenid with the Jews and with the religions of Babylon، especially when Babylon was overthrown on his hand and how the Zoroastrian religion dealt with other religions، especially with the Christian religion during the Sassanid state and what is the role of the Islamic religion in tolerance with other religions، and it links with the general tolerance of our present time .

Religious tolerance is a human demand، especially the tolerance shown by King Cyrus the Achaemenid towards the Jewish community in Babylon، which prompted Jews to promise him with the promised Savior or Savior.

Cyrus' dealings with the religious beliefs present in Babylonia constituted a policy of tolerance that was therefore acceptable to all religious advocates، because his policy was the closest to human instinct.
