Abstract

    Sadat's visit in November 1977، Egypt، led to the signing of the Camp David agreement with Israel in September 1978، which stipulated the signing of the peace treaty after agreeing on the outstanding issues between the two parties، within a period of three months، and then starting the autonomy talks on the West Bank and Gaza Regarding stopping the Lebanese civil war، Sadat's steps from its beginning faced a wide Arab and popular Arab rejection، including Lebanon، so that Sadat's visit constituted a new test for Lebanon's positions، which embarrassed Lebanon، due to the varied positions of the Lebanese parties between supporters and opponents. R to keep pace with the Arab countries that refuse to visit in order to preserve Arab solidarity
